The Artisan Stone and Loaf Instructor: Brenda Johnson Date: November 2, 2019 Time: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Supplies: Min: 3 students Max: 6 students Age Requirements: 14 – Adults Cost: $40/members $60/non members Course Description: Even the smallest French town has a baker who keeps the population happy with wonderful baguettes, boules, and other delicious beads. In our town good bread is hard to find and expensive. It’s perfectly easy, inexpensive (about $.75 a loaf) and takes little time to produce your own artisan bread. A fabulous crust is achieved using a baking stone. In this class we will learn the basic recipe, bake bread, eat what we bake for lunch, and make a stone for perfect crispy crusts.
