Saturday Dance with Laryssa Instructor: Laryssa Rice Class Dates: July 11 and July 18 (take one or both) Time: Adults 10:30 am – 11:30 am 3 – 5 year olds: 11:30 am 12:15 pm 6 – 8 year olds: 12:15 pm – 1:15 pm 9 – 12 year olds: 1:15 pm – 2:15 pm Locations: Upstairs Dance Studio Cost: $8 per session (members) $12 per session (non-members) Ages: must meet age requirement by date of class Minimum # of students – 4 Maximum # of students 15 Supply List: Ballet shoes or bare feet, clothes that allow for movement Course Descriptions: Come join professional ballerina Laryssa Rice for a Lyrical Ballet class. You will take a classical ballet barre warmup followed by Lyrical ballet combinations. From the roots of classical ballet, you will explore how this technique can easily blend with Contemporary and Jazz dance styles while expressing the music through movement. Laryssa has danced and taught in Idaho, Oregon and California for over 20 years. Her training has taken her in many different directions and she is excited to share her experience with her students. Laryssa strongly believes that anyone can dance and wants to make classes fun and inspiring while still carrying on the beautiful tradition of Ballet.
