Oregon Desert Trail Presentation
Do you need inspiration for that next backpacking, biking, rafting or horseback riding trip? The 750 mile Oregon Desert Trail traverses some stunning natural features in the high desert like the Hart Mountain National Antelope Refuge, Steens Mountain, and the Owyhee Canyonlands through a mixture of cross country travel, trail and two-track roads. Trail Coordinator Renee Patrick was the 10th hiker to complete the route, and will cover the basics of hitting the trail and share some stories from her section hiking & packrafting in 2016. Drawing on her 10,000 backpacking miles and recent triple crown accomplishment (completing the AT, PCT & CDT), Renee is applying all her knowledge and passion for trails to this new route
