Not Your College Pottery Class – BEGINNING WHEEL THROWING Instructor: Shannon Gray Dates: Thursdays March 7, 14, 28; and April 4, 11, 25 - 6 classes total (no class on Third Thursdays) Time: 6 – 8pm Location: Crossroads Pottery Studio Minimum number of students: 6 Max # of Students: 6 Course cost: $60 for members/ $95 for nonmembers Supply Fee; $25 for 25 lbs of Clay and all firing charges and free use of the Crossroads Studio during your scheduled class. Age Requirements if any: 21 and over Course Description: Have you always wanted to try making pottery on a wheel but haven’t had the time, or were too scared to try? Or has it been 20 years since you’ve sat behind a wheel? It’s never too late to start learning or to re-introduce yourself to the wheel after a hiatus! In this course we’ll jump on the wheel the very first day! You may get frustrated, it may at first seem impossible - but I assure you it’s not! Plus, you get to drink beer or wine. Feel free to BYOB! Shannon has over 10 years of experience working with clay and would love to help you begin or continue your journey in ceramics.
