Ms. Amy's Dance 11-18 year olds

Ms. Amy?s Dance Classes 11-18 year olds Instructor: Amy Martin Friedman Class Dates/Times: Monday ? Thursday 11:15 am ? 12:15 pm June 8 - 11, June 15 ? 18, and June 22-25, Recital June 26th 7:00 pm Take one week or all three weeks! This age group also has a bonus Street Contemporary Camp in July Each student that participates in all three weeks plus the July Street Camp gets a special gift from the instructor. Ages: 11-18 years Cost per week (4 days): $48/members and $72 for non-members Minimum # of students 8 Maximum # of students 12 Supplies needed: Students are encouraged to dress in all black: leggings, t-shirt and a soft shoe (no sneakers unless slippery with No TREAD on the bottom). Water bottle labeled with student?s name. Course Description: Students will dance learning from jazz, hip-hop, lyrical and Latin based movements. No experience is needed in this fun class that is a lot of work and a great workout. This class will have more difficult movements and choreography that is broken down by steps. Children respond well to Amy?s style of teaching which includes discipline and structure. The class mantra is to believe in one?s self. The three weeks will end with a group recital on June 26th at 7:00 pm.
