Time: 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Price: Members $30.00 NonMembers$45.00 Supplies: Bring your camera and a notebook Min # of Students: 3 Class Description Great photography is a choice! It comes when you actively raise your hand and say: I want to improve my skill! It’s a mix of learning your camera, understanding good composition, good light, proper exposure, and good photo processing… Photography is more than just capturing an exact representation of an interesting subject. It’s also about the photographer’s interpretation of any given subject. As a travel photographer, Teresa Uriarte has shot some of the most breathtaking views on earth. But, sometimes, equally appealing images can be made in boring or blah settings, too. Here’s how she does it—and what you should do the next time you’re out with your camera… Here’s the class schedule of what you will learn: April 10th - Let There Be Light – How to “See” Differently and Instantly Improve Your Shots April 17th - Simple (Yet Powerful) Composition Tools to Dramatically Transform Your Photographs April 24th - Seeing Beyond the Obvious: Tap into These Pro Composition Techniques May 1st – working together We will have a little homework from the class. Here’s a little pre-class assignment: Get out your camera, take a walk around the block or in your yard, and take a few photos of anything you like. Or one that you have recently taken. It doesn’t have to be an amazing photo – we’re using it as a starting point to help us know where you are... and to have a reference to look back on at the end.
