From Maxville to Vanport Dinner and Concert Celebrating Oregon History
Crossroads is thrilled to partner with the Baker Heritage Museum and the Portland Jazz Composers Ensemble for a wonderful evening of original jazz and the rich and remarkable history storytelling of Oregon’s shared history. “ From Maxville to VanPort” will be Baker Heritage Museum and Crossroads Carnegie Art Center Inc. In Partnership with Portland Jazz Composers Ensemble Presents: Dinner and Concert Celebrating Oregon History • Dinner, Concert, and Silent Auction • Songs and a short film inspired by the African-American experience in Oregon featuring a 12-piece jazz ensemble with Marilyn Keller, vocals • Lyrics by S. Renee Mitchell, Music by Ezra Weiss, Video by Kalimah Abioto • Building understanding and celebrating our shared history. • Benefiting the Baker Heritage Museum and Crossroads Carnegie Art Center programs. Saturday April 14th, 5 PM Social Hour, 6PM Dinner Baker Heritage Museum Grant Ballroom 2480 Grove St Baker City, OR97814 $50.00 a person includes dinner and performance—No Host Bar. Tickets will be available at Crossroads Carnegie Art Center, online at www.crossroads-arts.org, or at the Baker Heritage Museum after March 17th. If you would like to donate art, gift basket or some music related gift for the silent auction please let Crossroads staff know. All proceeds from Crossroads Silent Auction will benefit the Hand to Heart Scholarship Fund.
