Free Friday Movie - Celebrating the work of linemen
In honor of National Lineman Appreciation Day, a film newly released on DVD starring John Travolta as an electrical lineman will be shown at Baker County Public Library on Friday, April 7 2017 at 6:00 pm. Linemen are the brave men and women who protect public safety by constructing and maintaining electric power transmission and distribution facilities. Utility line work is in the top 10 of the most dangerous jobs in America. With successive wildfires and extreme winter weather of recent seasons, our local linemen have had extraordinary situations to deal with. Help show your gratitude for the risky work they do to keep our power supplied by attending this event. Admission is free and complimentary refreshments will be provided.
