Finding Fremont: Pathfinder of the West
Discover the story of John C. Fremont and his expedition through Central Oregon in 1843-44. Fremont's mapping expeditions provided maps for emigrants on The Oregon Trail and beyond, launching him to fame, fortune, and a bid for president of the United States of America. Developed by the Deschutes Historical Museum in partnership with the Nevada State Museum in Carson City.
